Hello, friends!
We are kicking this lazy Monday with a super fun Art Studio Themed Birthday Party submitted by Antonia of Marbella Printables. I am loving the addition of the super creative Popcorn Bar! What I love about this Art theme is the fact these ideas are gender neutral and they can be used for boys and girls!
I hope you get inspired!
As told by Antonia…
Once Christian confirmed the theme for his party, I jumped at the opportunity to style an Art Studio party because I knew it would be full of fun, bright colors!
The party was set up in two main sections:
1. Dessert Table
2. Popcorn Bar
For the dessert table I had Whippt design a clean, simple cake with offset stripes that included a fondant paint palette. The amazing personalized cookies were displayed on white art canvas rectangles. Rainbow sprinkle cupcakes adorned with printable toppers and coordinating lollipops were incorporated as well.
A bookshelf was used to display French plastic square bottles in coordinating colors. I spruced them up with coordinating bakers twine, paper straws, and printable flags. The plastic paint buckets were filled with coordinating sixlets.
Personalized water bottles were also available for the little artists.
For a fun display, I used a metal ladder to place favor bags in coordinating colors and tags. The personalized flags with each boys name added a special touch to the bags. Great impact! The bags were filled with pencil crayons, rainbow licorice, mini paint buckets filled with Skittles, a gumball tube, and a gift card to a local gourmet popcorn shop. Each guest was also given a bright green t-shirt, art canvas, and a selection of paints and brushes.
I loved the table settings! Each boy had his own tray filled with coordinating paper bags and paper cups. Sandwiches, fruit cups, and gummies were placed in the bags and paper cups. A vase was layered with sixlets and topped off with brightly colored large lollipops!
The Popcorn Bar was another big hit of the party! Popcorn is a HUGE favorite of our family (every Friday is movie night at our house!). I kept the look industrial by using inexpensive galvanized buckets and filled them with different flavors of popcorn. I filled a tray with mini, plastic paint buckets with an assortment of toppings, i.e. gummie bears, mini peanut butter cups, m&m’s, and a few more of our favorites.
